About Dr. Pam
Pamela Garcy, PhD is a clinical psychologist, life coach, and bestselling author of several successful personal development books.
She offers classes that range in length, type, and level of interaction.
Dr. Pam has been given weekly talks to her self-hosted events.
These events range from weekend success retreats since 2010, community meetup groups of 2-4 hours duration, lunch and learns on a variety of topics from success to fearlessness to mental health and more. To give back to the community, Dr. Pam has led weekly low cost or no cost groups including weekly SMART Recovery Groups. She has served as the speaker to various organizations including the UT Arlington’s Psychiatric Nursing Convention, WRJ, National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, and more.
Pam continues to enjoy developing her skills as a speaker. In recent months, Dr. Pam won best speaker and best table topics (impromptu speaking) at the Richardson Noon Toastmasters multiple times. She competed at the Grenada and was a finalist at TEDx SMU in March 2016.
In the past, Dr. Pam served on the volunteer faculty at UT Southwestern Medical School in the Rehabilitation Psychology Department. She was on the faculty of Richland College as a professor. She served as a professor and Director of Clinical Training at The Texas School of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Pam works confidentially with her clients and has worked within their businesses implementing tailor-made coaching programs, as well as working individually with specific team members for coaching. At points, she has coached the staff and led trainings as co-owner of the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Plano, which has at various times and is currently the top center in the country.
